How do I choose the correct size khussa?

Please refer to our SIZE GUIDE tab for more information on sizing.

Will my khussas/juttis be comfortable?

Comfort was a primary focus in the creation of our products. Therefore, we have ensured that every pair of khussa is made with extra comfort padding.

For optimal comfort, we recommend the breaking in any new pair of shoes.

How do I care for my khussas/juttis?

For cleaning we recommend using a damp cloth to wipe the leather. If deeper cleaning is required use warm water mixed with a small amount of fairy liquid and use a clean cloth to gently scrub the area that requires cleaning.

For our heritage, leather collection in particular, to keep your khussas shiny and to keep the upper, coloured leather in good condition, we advise to use a small amount of mustard oil on a soft cloth and rub against the coloured leather.

If you require further assistance you can get in contact with us through any of our social media channels.

Is it suitable to wear my khussas/juttis in wet weather?

The leather sole means these can be worn outdoors however, wearing khussa shoes in the rain is generally not recommended. Khussas are often made from leather or other materials that may not be water-resistant. Exposure to water can cause damage, discoloration, and deformation of the material, affecting both the aesthetics and structural integrity of the shoes.

If your khussas do get wet, allow them to air-dry naturally, avoiding direct heat sources, and consider using a leather conditioner to help maintain the material's quality.

We recommend wearing them indoors, on terraces and in gardens, just as Mughal royalty would have done!

How do I store my khussas/juttis?

To maintain the shape and condition of khussa shoes, it is recommended to store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Consider stuffing them with tissue paper or using shoe trees to help preserve their form. Additionally, keeping them in the velvet dust bag provided or in a breathable storage container to protect them from dust and potential damage.

Avoid storing khussa shoes in plastic bags or airtight containers, as this may lead to moisture retention and affect the material. Regularly cleaning and airing them out before storage can also contribute to their longevity.
